My family was in need of a new car or GV70 was totaled. Once you drive a genesis you are hooked forever. We did not have a good start with the vehicle we initially picked but when I tell you when we set eyes on our actual GV80…. Mind blowing the service was top tier. However, my experience at this dealership surpassed my expectations, especially since it didn't have the cache of the others. The showroom was clean, well organized, and the staff were wonderful. Car sales people have an unfortunate stigma oftentimes. I have to say that Alex broke that wide open. He's the best sales person I've encountered. He was attentive. In March of 2025 I purchased a used Genesis GV70 with 5,000 miles from Genesis of White Plains. When I reached 10,000 miles I texted the salesman to ask if the tires had been rotated at 5,000 miles before I purchased the car. I received no response. A week later I called his cell phone and left a voice message. I received no response. I then called Genesis of White Plains and the operator transferred me to his work voice mail and I left a message. I got no response. I week later I sent him an email. He responded but did not provide the information of if my tires were rotated. I replied to the email that I had been trying for 3 weeks to answer the simple question of when my tires were rotated. He finally emailed back that they had been rotated at 5,000 miles. On 02/20/26 I took my car to my local mechanic because I had an issue with the alignment. My mechanic wasn’t able to find the key to unlock the lug nuts to remove my tires, and couldn’t fix the problem. I also was not able to find the key in my car to unlock the lug nuts, and didn’t recall ever seeing this lug nut key. I made a service appointment with Genesis of White Plains on 02/27/26 and was told by the service specialist that the checklist showed the lug nut key was in the car before it was sold and they requested I return home to look for it. They showed me a plastic bag sample of how the lug nuts looked. I noted that I had never seen the lug nuts since purchasing the car but that I would look for them. They also said that it would be approximately $140 to replace 4 lug nuts. On 03/12/26 I called Genesis to explain that I looked everywhere recommended and could not find the lug nut key, and that I had never seen the lug nut key in my car since I purchased it. I requested that Genesis of White Plains replace the key as a courtesy because I was not in my car when I purchased it. The service specialist said that he would speak to his manager and get back to me. He never did. On 03/16 I called and was told he was with another customer and that he would call me back. On 03/18 when I hadn’t received a call back, I contacted Genesis of America to complain. On 03/26 Genesis replaced the lug nuts for free and apologized.

First of all, Genesis is a carmaker to which more people need to pay attention and give credit. The product really is excellent; not just for the money, but in general. The negative associations with Hyundai (which even Hyundai has come a long way) need to end. Having said that, this review is for Genesis of White Plains. This is a huge dealership with a LOT of inventory - worth going out of your way to visit. The whole dealership experience shows why Genesis deserves to be taken seriously as a luxury car brand. I purchased a 2026 GV70 (3.5t Sport Prestige) and had an amazing experience thanks to Will (sales) and Thomas (finance). Both are personable and good people and will make the buying process straightforward and as painless as possible. They know their product very well and I was very impressed with them. I'm happy with my experience and my purchase. Even though there are Genesis dealers closer to me in NJ, I'll still likely utilize them for servicing (I just like them that much!).

Best experience I’ve ever had with a car dealership. I live in the DC area and went to White Plains because of the huge inventory, but the service and technical knowledge of the staff was amazing. With an advanced car like the Genesis, you really need experts to get you acclimated to the vehicle and all its features. That’s what you get at this dealership. A+ experience all the way around.

I recently purchased a Genesis GV70 from the White Plains dealership. If you’re in the market for a car, I would highly recommend going there. The showroom is gorgeous! Very clean, ultra modern and high tech looking. The people in there are all so friendly, and my sales advisor, Alex Visnius, was such a pleasure to work with. Buying a car can be an unpleasant and intimidating experience but it was the complete opposite. Alex helped me decide which model would be best for me, he was patient, knowledgeable and personable. Not once did I feel pressured or coaxed into buying something I didn’t want. Negotiating a fair price was also not difficult which is usually the worst part of buying a car. Again, Alex came off as genuine and not sly or disingenuous. Ultimately, I decided to make the purchase. The process was effortless and actually pleasant. Normally dealing with the finance department can also be stressful, but that too went very smoothly. When I picked up the car Alex patiently went over everything with me, and days later when I forgot some of what he said, he happily made himself available to take my calls and texts to help me figure things out. He also made sure to call me after to make sure I was happy with the car. I love my car. I really do. I test drove several cars before looking at the GV70. I saw it on the road and thought it was a good looking car, so I decided to test drive it. I was so surprised, it looked and drove like a high end luxury brand (Mercedes, Range Rover, Lexus.) It has been a long time since we enjoyed the process of buying a car. Adilson Verdan made the entire experience easy, transparent and listened to everything we relayed… he did not try to upsell or bait / switch. Adilson was responsive, patient when answering questions and if he didn’t have an answer - he asked the appropriate individual. I have recommended cars, but rarely sales at a dealership. Rafael Santana is excellent - professional and attentive. I operate on a tight schedule and Rafael was able to let us test drive a couple of vehicles right before store close. We purchased a Genisis GV80 a couple months ago. When we arrived, our appointment, salesman was busy so Alex Visnius became our salesman, Right away, I became skeptical, I must say I was pleasantly surprised and stand to be corrected. Alex was very professional and a delight to work with. He did what ever he could do to get us what we wanted within our budget. We did have a few concerns that were addressed immediately. The showroom is very high-end and comfortable. We absolutely love our car and we would highly recommend genisis of White Plains-and if you go there, definitely ask for Alex Visnius!!!
